Arches & Canyonlands are two of the numerous parks in southern Utah.  They’re both near the town of Moab, and well worth one or two days visit on your trip around the American West.  These beautiful parks are iconic, and are often seen in film.  Over the millennia wind and rain have sculpted the red sandstone of these parks into amazingly beautiful sculptures.

Moab is a mountain biking mecca.  While you’re there you might consider renting bikes and peddling around the many trails accessible to you.

Yosemite is more than just a ‘park’… it’s a temple of nature.  Ask anyone… Yosemite is one of the most beautiful places on earth and just a few hours’ drive from San Francisco.  While hotel rooms are scarce, there is plenty of camping, and with the Westfalia Camper, you always have your hotel room with you.  (Campground reservations are always recommended, especially during the summer months.)
